DartTapRush
DartTapRush is a reflex tap arcade game set in an enchanted night forest, where you chase wisp-lights against the clock. This page explains what the app does and does not do with your data.
DartTapRush does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. The game runs entirely offline and has no accounts, no servers, and no advertising.
Information we collect
None. DartTapRush has no sign-up, no login, and no user accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, or any other personal detail, and we have no server that could receive them. The optional display name you can set for yourself is stored only on your own device (see the next section) and is never sent anywhere.
Data stored on your device
To make the app work, DartTapRush stores the following only on your device, using the operating system's local storage:
- Game progress — the highest level you have unlocked, your best score and star rating for each level, and your best combo streak.
- Coin balance — the in-game currency you have earned through play.
- Upgrade tiers — which in-game upgrades you have purchased with earned coins.
- Player profile — the display name you type in and the index of the avatar you pick. These are shown only to you, inside the app.
- Accessibility preferences — your colourblind-mode and reduced-flash settings.
- Onboarding flag — a single true/false value recording that you have seen the intro screens.
This data never leaves your device. It is not uploaded to DartTapRush or to any third party. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes all of it permanently.
Permissions
DartTapRush requests no runtime permissions at all. Its Android manifest declares none, so the app has no access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, files, or any other protected part of your device.
Network use
The game is fully offline. It contains no networking code, opens no connections, and works identically in airplane mode. Nothing about your play is uploaded, because there is nowhere for it to be uploaded to. The one exception is entirely under your control: if you tap the share button on your results screen, the app hands a short block of text (your score) to your device's standard share sheet, and you choose which app to send it to. That transfer is performed by the app you pick, and is governed by that app's own privacy policy — not by us.
Third-party services
None. DartTapRush integrates no analytics, advertising, attribution, or crash-reporting SDKs — there is no Firebase, no Google Analytics, no AdMob, and no third-party tracker of any kind. The open-source libraries the app is built from (Flutter, flutter_bloc, Hive, shared_preferences, flutter_animate and share_plus) run locally on your device and do not phone home. There are also no in-app purchases; all coins are earned by playing.
Children's privacy
DartTapRush is suitable for all ages. Because the app collects no personal information whatsoever and transmits nothing off the device, it does not knowingly or unknowingly gather data from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). No parental consent mechanism is required, because there is no data collection to consent to.
Your rights
Because everything the app saves stays on your device, you already have complete control over it. You can erase all of it at any time by clearing the app's storage in your device settings, or by uninstalling DartTapRush — both remove your progress, coins, upgrades, profile and preferences permanently and irreversibly. We hold no copy of your data on any server, so there is nothing for us to look up, export, or delete on your behalf. Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the date at the top of this page will be revised. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
